72 Hours of Straight Kickin' It

And not the cool kind of kickin' it...my little kickboxer has been beating the crap out of Mommy's womb.

At least she'll be able to defend herself...I wouldn't want to mess with her ;-)

The Best Family Ever!!!

I just needed a moment to gush about what an amazing family I have. Sarah is going to be so lucky to join such a loving group of people. Let me start by saying Riley was extremely ill last week Thursday and we tried to pass it off as something she ate. Then on Friday, my mom got sick (keep in mind Riley was with her all day on Thursday) Still in denial, I think my mom must have caught some "other" bug because the two illnesses could not possibly be connected :) Then on Friday night, one of my very best friends comes in to town from Minnesota for the weekend and I had not seen her in over a year. Paul and I take Jan out to dinner and all is good. Until...... I wake up Saturday morning vomiting. I call my parents and my dad is now sick. Of course, still in denial, we take off for our day I had planned. To put it lightly, I ate 4 oyster crackers the whole day and spent the majority of the afternoon and evening with my head in a bucket. So my friend Jan, bless her heart, is content watching TV with Riley while Paul is at my beck and call. Riley made me a Mothers Day present and a get well card and then on Sunday, the surprised me with more presents. They also had an amazing breakfast planned which we had to move to a later date as my stomach was still not quite right. They were all so amazing and truly made me realize how lucky I am to have all of them!! Having a fantastic family and an amazing circle of friends, is more than I could ever ask for :) Unfortunately my poor honey Paul has come down with it as of this evening :( No worries, Riley and I are on it!

So I will continue to do my best to keep up with the posting on our blog. Life has been great! We are preparing little by little to meet our new little princess! Riley is super excited to be a big sister and talks to my belly all the time. Baby Sarah is doing well, moving a ton. She definitely has a love of music as that is what gets her moving the most! Her favorite song... Bye Bye Bye from N Sync. Like father like daughter!!
